TVS festive update brings traction control to the Apache RTR 160, TFT displays and Black Diamond editions across the range, from ₹1.27 lakh ex-showroom.
TVS Motor Company has rolled out a broad festive-season update across its premium motorcycle range, adding new variants, safety hardware and connected features to the Apache RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 200 4V, the flagship Apache 310 series and the Ronin. The updated motorcycles reached dealerships across India on 17th September 2026. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
| Model | Key additions | Price (ex-showroom, Delhi) |
| Apache RTR 160 | Dual-channel ABS with TCS, hazard lamps, LED tail lamps | ₹1,27,990 |
| Apache RTR 160 4V | TFT display with Google Map mirroring, Panic Brake Alert, Type-C charger | ₹1,41,440 |
| Apache RTR 200 4V | All of the above plus front adjustable USD fork | ₹1,49,990 |
| Apache RTR 310 Black Diamond | All-black livery, quickshifter | ₹2,48,990 |
| Apache RR 310 Black Diamond | Keyless ride added, quickshifter, new livery | ₹2,87,790 |
| TVS Ronin Base+ (new) | Dual-channel ABS, new livery | ₹1,42,490 |
The RTR 160's new top variant is notable because traction control at this price is still rare in the 160cc segment. The RTR 200 4V gains the most mechanical substance with a front adjustable USD fork, while the 310 range gets Black Diamond editions; the RR 310 finally adds keyless ride, which the RTR 310 already had. Both 310s continue with cornering ABS, cornering traction control, cruise control and drag torque control. TVS says the Apache brand has crossed 7 million riders across 90 countries, and the Ronin has passed 2,00,000 buyers globally.
The push comes as India's two-wheeler market premiumises rapidly. TVS says premium and super-premium motorcycles (150cc and above) now account for about 27 per cent of the motorcycle industry and are growing at more than 22 per cent, and EVs already make up about 10 per cent of TVS' monthly sales. Vimal Sumbly, Head of Business, Premium, TVS Motor Company, said the upgrades are designed to elevate the joy of ownership this festive season.
Festive buyers get genuinely useful additions rather than sticker jobs: traction control, map mirroring and better suspension at existing price points. The sweet spot is the RTR 200 4V for the USD fork, while the RTR 160's TCS variant is the value pick for safety-conscious commuters. Expect matching festive offers from Bajaj and Hero in the coming weeks.
