Bajaj has launched the 2026 Pulsar NS200 at ₹1.60 lakh with a 5-inch TFT cluster, Google Maps mirroring, traction control, ride modes and a bi-directional quickshifter.
Bajaj Auto has launched the 2026 Pulsar NS200 at ₹1.60 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi, and for once the headline is not the engine. The 199.5cc liquid-cooled single still sits in the same perimeter frame, but the instrument console that riders have complained about for years has been thrown away and replaced with a 5-inch colour TFT that mirrors Google Maps wirelessly over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
That single change rewrites the daily-use case for a bike that has always been bought for its look and its top-end pull rather than its convenience. Bajaj has also added an electronic throttle body, which unlocks traction control and multiple ride modes, plus a bi-directional quickshifter that Bajaj calls the Sports Shifter.
Peak power has moved from 24 bhp to 25 bhp from the same 199.5cc engine, so this is a mild mechanical refresh rather than a new motor. The hardware list is where the money has gone: 37mm upside-down front forks, a radial rear tyre, adjustable clutch and brake levers, a USB Type-C port, hazard lights and a panic brake alert that flashes the indicators under hard braking.

The TFT is not just a map screen. Bajaj has built in music controls, document storage for licence and RC copies, and a lap timer, which is an odd feature on a commuter-adjacent streetfighter but costs nothing to add once the display is there. The traction control and ride modes arrive through the electronic throttle, so they can be calibrated rather than bolted on.

The clutchless shifting works both up and down the gearbox, which matters more in city traffic than on a weekend run. Combined with the new front forks and the radial rear tyre, the 2026 bike is being pitched at riders who want the NS200's stance without the wrist-and-clutch workout that older versions demanded.
At ₹1.60 lakh the NS200 has not become cheaper, and the market around it has filled up with 200cc-to-250cc options that trade some electronics for more cubic capacity. Bajaj's counter is that the NS200 now offers the kind of connected display and rider aids that were, until recently, the preserve of much more expensive machines. You can line the numbers up side by side on our compare page before you decide.
Deliveries are expected to begin shortly, though Bajaj has not announced a firm date. The four colours include three new shades, with Pearl Metallic White carried over from the previous version.

If you were already set on an NS200, the 2026 bike is the version to buy simply because the display and the electronics make daily riding easier. If you were cross-shopping on power alone, nothing here changes the arithmetic. The real gain is navigation on the dashboard: on a bike that costs ₹1.60 lakh, not having to clamp a phone to the handlebar is worth more than one extra horsepower.
