Every car in India with Level 2 ADAS under Rs 20 lakh in 2026, from the Rs 9.39 lakh Honda Amaze to the Tata Sierra, with the exact variant and price you need.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems were once the preserve of luxury saloons. In 2026 they have gone mass market, and at least fifteen models priced under Rs 20 lakh now offer radar and camera-based safety suites. That means adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist are no longer tied to cars costing upwards of Rs 25 lakh.
Before the list, one clarification that matters. Level 1 ADAS only warns or intervenes on one axis, usually braking or steering. Level 2 controls speed and steering together, so the car can hold its lane and its gap to the car ahead at the same time, though the driver stays fully responsible. Several cars are advertised with a long list of alerts that are really Level 1. We count only genuine Level 2 suites here.
A Level 2 system has to do three things together: see the road, decide, and act. It sees through a combination of a forward camera, and sometimes a radar or ultrasonic sensors. The camera reads lane markings, road signs and the shape of vehicles ahead; radar measures distance and closing speed more accurately, especially in poor light. The car then blends that information to keep you centred in your lane, maintain a set speed, and hold a safe gap to the car ahead. If a collision looks likely and you do not react, automatic emergency braking steps in. The critical point is that the system monitors your attention, usually through steering input, and will warn and then disengage if you take your hands off the wheel ::KEY_NUMBERS:: Most affordable with ADAS | Rs 9.39 lakh Cheapest SUV with ADAS | Rs 13.27 lakh Models under Rs 20 lakh with ADAS | over 15 Levels explained | 1 and 2 ::TLDR:: Level 2 ADAS now reaches cars under Rs 10 lakh It still sits behind top and automatic variants Camera-only systems can struggle in heavy rain Two levels exist, and Level 1 is not the same as Level 2 ::CHART:: type: bar title: Cheapest ADAS variant of key models (Rs lakh) labels: Amaze,Baleno,XUV 3XO,Nexon,Elevate,Seltos,Creta values: 9.39,9.49,13.27,13.53,15.39,16.69,17.27 source: CarMaths, October 2026 ::GLOSSARY:: Level 2 ADAS | the car controls speed and steering together, but the driver stays responsible AEB | Automatic Emergency Braking, which brakes for you to avoid a crash ACC | Adaptive Cruise Control, which keeps a set speed and gap to the car ahead ::PULLQUOTE:: A year ago ADAS was an Audi or Volvo flex.
