Maserati Brings Five Models to India: Grecale at ₹1.14 Crore, GT2 Stradale at ₹5.72 Crore

By AUTOASTRA Editorial · 31 Oct 2026 · Launch

Maserati has relaunched its India range with the facelifted Grecale from ₹1.14 crore, the GranTurismo and GranCabrio, the MCPura and the GT2 Stradale at ₹5.72 crore.

Maserati Relaunches in India With Five Cars at Once

Maserati has introduced five models to India in a single stroke, a lot of showroom traffic for a brand this small here. The updated Grecale SUV, the GranTurismo coupe and the GranCabrio convertible arrive alongside the MCPura supercar and the GT2 Stradale, taking the range from ₹1.14 crore to ₹5.72 crore ex-showroom.

The Grecale is the volume car and gets the most substantive update. Its face has been redrawn with a concave shark-nose grille borrowed from the MCPura. The bigger change is under the bonnet: a new Modena V6 variant slots in at ₹1.39 crore, using the 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 in 390 hp and 500 Nm tune, 60 hp more than the four-cylinder Modena below it.

GT2 Stradale₹5.72 crore640 hp Nettuno V6, rear-wheel drive, 914 units worldwide

The Trofeo keeps the same V6 in 530 hp and 620 Nm form. The electric Grecale Folgore is priced at ₹1.90 crore and now claims 580 km from a 105 kWh pack, with 22 kW AC and 150 kW DC charging. With the petrol Macan gone from India, its closest rival is the Macan Electric.

The Grand Tourers and the Supercars

The GranTurismo and GranCabrio, first shown globally in June 2026, get revised front-end styling and a reworked cabin. The petrol cars use the Nettuno V6 at 483 hp in 490 form and 590 hp in Trofeo form, the latter 50 hp up on the outgoing version, driving all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic.

At the top sit the MCPura and the GT2 Stradale. The MCPura is the evolution of the MC20, with a 630 hp version of the Nettuno V6, a carbon monocoque and butterfly doors. The GT2 Stradale is the road-legal version of Maserati's GT2 race car: 640 hp and 720 Nm, 1,365 kg dry, 60 kg lighter than the MC20. Production is capped at 914 units, a nod to 1914.

What This Means for the Luxury Buyer

Maserati's problem in India has never been product; it has been network and residual values. Relaunching five cars with a coherent price ladder, and putting a genuine V6 in the mid-range Grecale rather than reserving it for the Trofeo, is a sensible attack.

For a buyer comparing at ₹1.5 crore to ₹2 crore, the Grecale Modena V6 is the interesting one. It undercuts the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5 M60i while offering a Ferrari-derived engine. The trade-off: a smaller dealer footprint and steeper depreciation than the Germans'.
