Our job is to give you a number you can trust. This page explains how we get it.
Prices and specifications come from the manufacturer's brochure and price list. Road tax comes from state transport department slabs. Fuel prices come from published state-wise rates. Where a figure is not published, we show a dash rather than estimate it silently.
A review covers price, engine and gearbox, ride and handling, cabin space, features, safety and running cost, and ends with a score out of five and the reason for it. We do not accept payment for a rating, a ranking or a verdict.
If a figure is wrong, tell us with the source and we will fix it and note the change.
