Ducati has unveiled the 2027 Panigale V4 with 218hp, a reworked front frame and new rider aids, but India launch and pricing are still unconfirmed.
Ducati has unveiled the 2027 Panigale V4 and V4 S, its flagship superbike, with a small power bump, a reworked chassis and two new electronic rider aids. It is an evolution rather than a redesign, and the changes are aimed squarely at track performance. Ducati says the new bike is 0.4 seconds a lap faster than its predecessor around the Vallelunga circuit in Italy.

Under the skin, the Desmosedici Stradale engine stays at 1,103cc but now makes 218hp at 13,500rpm, up 2hp, thanks to a revised air intake, lubrication circuit and exhaust system. Peak torque is essentially unchanged at 120.6Nm. Ducati has also raised the rev limiter to 15,000rpm in gears two through five and fitted longer final gearing, which cuts the number of gear changes needed per lap.
| Specification | 2027 Panigale V4 |
|---|---|
| Engine | 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 |
| Power | 218hp at 13,500rpm |
| Torque | 120.6Nm at 11,000rpm |
| Kerb weight (V4 S, no fuel) | 187kg |
| UK price (V4 / V4 S) | GBP 25,495 / GBP 30,995 (about Rs 32.16 lakh and Rs 39.10 lakh) |
The chassis changes are the more interesting part. Ducati has reduced the lateral stiffness of the front frame by 12 per cent, which it says improves front grip at high lean angles. New electronics include Dynamic Engine Brake and Race Brake Control, both appearing on a Panigale for the first time. The V4 S gets Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 suspension, forged wheels and a lithium battery, which help it weigh 4kg less than the standard bike.

For the first time, the Panigale V4 S joins Ducati's Factory Made programme, letting buyers configure colours, liveries and components at the Borgo Panigale factory. Choices include 11 colours, five of them from Lamborghini's Ad Personam palette, and two liveries. An optional Akrapovic full racing exhaust adds 11hp and cuts 6.6kg.
The new Panigale V4 reaches European dealerships in March 2027, followed by North America in April. Ducati has not announced an India launch date or price. In India, the current 2026 Panigale V4 costs Rs 32.05 lakh and the V4 S Rs 39.01 lakh, and prices are expected to rise when the 2027 versions arrive. For Indian superbike buyers, that means a wait of at least a few months and likely a higher sticker.
