E3 Electric.Ai Begins TRION Production, Deliveries Start 7 October

From Test Track to Road

Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup E3 Electric.Ai has started production of its E3 TRION electric scooter at its Hyderabad manufacturing facility, with the first customer deliveries scheduled in batches from 7 October 2026, a date that also marks the company's second anniversary. The move takes the startup's first product from launch and testing into the customer-handover phase.

The TRION is offered in three variants, C1, C1X and C2, aimed at young riders, families and business users respectively, and is available in six colours. At its launch in August 2026, introductory ex-showroom Bengaluru prices were ₹99,999 for the C1, ₹1,09,999 for the C1X and ₹1,19,999 for the C2.

The Validation Behind It

Before production, the TRION completed more than 550 validation tests covering power, range, braking, durability with a 205kg load, and water-wading at depths of up to 300mm. It also completed a 260km mixed-terrain round trip from Bengaluru to Hogenakkal. The first 100 customers will form E3's founding-owner community, each receiving an extended warranty of eight years or one lakh kilometres on the battery and key parts, plus a year of roadside assistance, benefits the company values at ₹6,500 on the C1 and ₹8,500 on the C1X and C2.

What This Means for You

The C1X, with a claimed 165km range at ₹1.10 lakh, is the pick of the range on paper, while the C2 adds top speed for riders who want a little more performance. As with any new brand, the questions for a buyer are service reach, spare-part availability and how the claimed range holds up in real use, none of which can be judged from launch claims alone. The founding-owner warranty package is a sensible way to buy early confidence, but it is capped at the first 100 customers.
