Ferrari has brought its first electric car, the Luce, to India at the Universo Ferrari exhibition in New Delhi, but there is still no India price or date.
Ferrari has given its first electric car, the Luce, an India debut, displaying it at the Universo Ferrari exhibition at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, New Delhi, which opened on 17 October and runs to 1 November. It is a showcase rather than a sales launch. Ferrari has not announced an India price, a booking window or an on-sale date for the Luce, so Indian buyers still cannot put a rupee figure on owning one.

Globally, the Luce is priced from about 550,000 euros, or roughly ₹6.1 crore before options and taxes, and standard import duties would push an Indian showroom price well past ₹10 crore. That places it in the rarefied air occupied by a handful of supercars and hypercars in India.
Underneath, the Luce is built on an all-new 800-volt architecture with a 122 kWh battery and four electric motors, one at each wheel, producing a combined output of more than 1,000hp. Ferrari claims a 0-100 kmph time of 2.5 seconds, a top speed above 310 kmph and a range of more than 530 km. The battery supports DC fast charging at up to 350 kW.
| Specification | Ferrari Luce |
|---|---|
| Powertrain | Four electric motors, one per wheel |
| Battery | 122 kWh, 800-volt architecture |
| 0-100 kmph | 2.5 seconds (claimed) |
| Top speed | Above 310 kmph (claimed) |
| Claimed range | More than 530 km |
| Seats | Five, a first for Ferrari |
Styled by LoveFrom, the design firm co-founded by former Apple designer Jony Ive, the Luce takes a radical departure from Ferrari's familiar design language, with a glass-heavy silhouette, recessed LED headlamps and a two-piece body structure. The cabin deliberately goes against the touchscreen trend, bringing back physical buttons, mechanical switches and aluminium dials alongside a 10-inch touchscreen and a 12.5-inch OLED driver's display.

For India, the Luce is more a signal than a product. Ferrari's decision to show its first EV here, alongside the F80 hypercar and the 12Cilindri Manuale, underlines how seriously the brand now treats the country's ultra-luxury market. The technology on display, particularly the 800-volt architecture and 350 kW charging, is also a preview of what will filter down to more affordable electric performance cars in the years ahead.
Until Ferrari publishes an India price and a booking channel, treat the Luce as a showcase, not a car you can budget for. If you want to understand the wider electric shift, our news section tracks the latest EV launches, and you can compare premium electric models on our Compare tool.
