Honda QC3 Electric Scooter Launched at ₹1.35 Lakh — 145km Range, Takes on TVS iQube

By AUTOASTRA Editorial · 22 Sept 2026 · Electric

Honda QC3 electric scooter launched in India at ₹1.35 lakh with a 3kWh battery and 145km IDC range, taking on the TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.

Honda QC3 Is the Cheapest Big-Battery Family EV Scooter From Honda

The Honda QC3 electric scooter has been launched in India at ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it the third electric two-wheeler from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India after the Activa e: and the QC1. Positioned as a family EV scooter, the QC3 goes on sale first in five cities — Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam — through select RedWing dealerships, with a phased nationwide rollout to follow. Bookings are open now for ₹5,000 on Honda's website or at RedWing dealerships, and the scooter is offered in four colours: Matt Photon Gray Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue and Pearl Siren Blue.

Most Range of Any Honda E-Scooter in India

The QC3 addresses the biggest criticism of Honda's earlier electric efforts, which were seen as offering too little equipment for their price. Its 3.0kWh battery is double the QC1's 1.5kWh unit and delivers a claimed 145km of IDC range, the highest of any Honda e-scooter in India and well beyond the Activa e:'s 102km claim. Charging takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes for a 0-80 percent fill and roughly 4 hours for a full charge. The scooter uses a hub-mounted motor with a front disc brake, and the equipment list includes a 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, a smart key system and 32 litres of under-seat storage, up from the QC1's 26 litres. Local manufacturing is what lets Honda price the QC3 this aggressively.

Electric scooterEx-showroom price (Delhi)
Honda QC3₹1.35 lakh
TVS iQube 3.1kWh₹1.30 lakh
Vida VX2 Plus 3.1₹1.03 lakh
Bajaj Chetak C3502₹1.44 lakh
Ather Konarc S 161₹1.45 lakh

What This Means for You

At ₹1.35 lakh, the QC3 sits right in the thick of India's most competitive electric scooter price band, undercutting the Chetak C3502 and the Ather Konarc S 161 while carrying a bigger battery than Honda has ever offered here. If you are a family buyer in one of the five launch cities who wants a known brand's service network plus genuine 100km-plus real-world usability, the QC3 deserves a shortlist slot — though the Vida VX2 Plus undercuts it on price and the iQube matches it closely, so compare on-road quotes before booking.
