October 2026 car launches in India: Honda Elevate facelift on 6 October, Volvo EX90 on 12 October and the new Audi Q3 on 16 October, plus prices.
October 2026 car launches in India now have confirmed dates, and the month reads like a mini motor show. Between 5 October and Diwali, showrooms will take in a refreshed Honda Elevate, Volvo's flagship electric SUV, a new-generation Audi Q3, a Mercedes-Maybach flagship and at least three more debuts. For festive-season shoppers this is the window to watch, because several of these launches will reset prices in their segments, so line each arrival up against its rivals on the AUTOINDIA Compare page.
Honda opens the month with the Elevate facelift on 6 October. The update is expected to bring revised LED lighting, a reworked grille, ventilated front seats and a factory-fitted 360-degree camera borrowed from the new City, while the 121hp 1.5-litre petrol engine with 6-speed manual and CVT options carries over unchanged. The current Elevate retails at ₹11.81-16.36 lakh (ex-showroom); a modest premium is expected.
| Model | Launch Date | Expected Price (ex-showroom) | Segment |
| Mercedes-Maybach S-Class | 5 October 2026 | To be announced at launch | Flagship luxury sedan |
| Honda Elevate facelift | 6 October 2026 | ₹12.00-16.50 lakh (expected) | Midsize SUV |
| Volvo EX90 | 12 October 2026 | ₹1.40-1.50 crore (expected) | Luxury electric SUV |
| Volvo ES90 | 12 October 2026 | ₹1.00-1.20 crore (estimates vary) | Luxury electric sedan |
| Toyota Glanza facelift | 14 October 2026 (reported) | Slight premium over current ₹6.73 lakh | Premium hatchback |
| Audi Q3 (third-gen) | 16 October 2026 | ₹55-60 lakh (expected) | Entry luxury SUV |
| Skoda Slavia facelift | Early October 2026 | ₹10.25-18.75 lakh (expected) | Midsize sedan |
Volvo lands both of its 90-series electric flagships on 12 October. The India-spec EX90 has already been revealed ahead of launch and will come in a single, fully loaded Ultra trim with a 106kWh battery, dual motors producing 456hp and 670Nm, a claimed 625km range and 800V fast charging with a 10-80 percent top-up in about 22 minutes. The EX90 goes up against the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV and BMW iX, while the ES90 fastback sedan debuts alongside it as the brand's electric flagship for chauffeur-driven buyers.
Audi closes the confirmed list with the third-generation Q3 on 16 October. Local assembly has already begun at the SAVWIPL plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, which should keep the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol quattro competitive against the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA. The new Q3 develops 204hp and 320Nm through a 7-speed DCT, and bookings are already open at ₹1 lakh. Note the jump: the outgoing model costs ₹43.67-53 lakh today, and the new one is expected at ₹55-60 lakh.
Also on the calendar: Mercedes-Maybach launches the updated S-Class on 5 October, Toyota's Glanza facelift is strongly reported for 14 October with the Baleno's new 83hp 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine, Skoda's Slavia facelift gets its price reveal in early October, and the JSW Jetour T2 is lined up before Diwali, though its pricing remains unconfirmed.
Festive-season waiting periods are real, so timing matters. If a midsize SUV is on your list, wait until 6 October before signing anything, because the Elevate facelift will either give you more equipment for similar money or push discounts onto the outgoing car. Luxury buyers should likewise hold out for 12 and 16 October before committing to an X1, GLA or an electric rival. Once prices land, compare each newcomer against its established rivals on the AUTOINDIA Compare page before paying a booking amount.
