Skoda has revealed the Epiq Sportline, a top-trim version of its small electric SUV with an illuminated grille, a suede-lined cabin and up to 440km of claimed range from a 55kWh battery.
Skoda has revealed the Epiq Sportline, a better-equipped, sportier version of its smallest electric SUV. The new trim sits at the top of the Epiq range and brings visual and cabin upgrades rather than mechanical changes, though buyers still get a choice of two battery and motor configurations. Prices have not been announced yet.

On the outside, the Epiq Sportline gets body-coloured bumpers, gloss-black Skoda lettering, badges, roof rails and mirror covers, plus a revised air intake and an illuminated grille called the Light Band, making its debut on this version. It rides on 19-inch black alloy wheels as standard, with 20-inch wheels optional — the largest offered on the Epiq. A rear diffuser, Sportline badge and optional black roof complete the look.
The Sportline comes in two versions. The Epiq 40 uses a 38.5kWh battery with 133bhp and 267Nm, for a claimed 310km of range. The Epiq 55 steps up to a 55kWh pack, 208bhp and 290Nm, with a claimed 440km range and a 0-100kmph time of 7.1 seconds. Both support DC fast charging that takes the battery from 10 to 80 percent in a claimed 24 minutes.
| Version | Battery | Power | Claimed range | 0-100 kmph |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Epiq 40 | 38.5 kWh | 133 bhp | 310 km | Not stated |
| Epiq 55 | 55 kWh | 208 bhp | 440 km | 7.1 seconds |

The cabin goes all-black with Suedia upholstery on the sports seats, dashboard trim and door pads, quilted stitching and a flat-bottom steering wheel with a Sportline badge and paddles for adjusting energy recuperation. Standard kit includes heated and electrically adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a digital key, wireless phone charging and LED Matrix headlights. Optional extras include an ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera, a 10-speaker Canton sound system and an energy-efficient heat pump.

The Epiq is Skoda's push into affordable electric mobility, and the Sportline shows the brand wants a premium, well-equipped halo within that range. For Indian buyers, the relevance is longer-term: Skoda's India EV plans are still taking shape, and a small, 440km-rated SUV would fit the market neatly if it arrives here. Until then, treat the Epiq Sportline as a signal of where Skoda's electric design and trim strategy is heading.
