Tata Aeris Deliveries Begin on 11 October — Full Variant-Wise Price List

By AUTOASTRA Editorial · 11 Oct 2026 · Launch

Tata Motors has begun Aeris deliveries on 11 October, the first day of Navratri, with introductory prices from Rs 5.29 lakh and a petrol-plus-CNG lineup.

Tata's New Compact Sedan Reaches Buyers

Tata Motors has started customer deliveries of the Aeris compact sedan on 11 October, timed to the first day of Navratri, the start of India's busiest car-buying window. The Aeris replaced the long-running Tigor nameplate when it was launched on 25 September, and it is now reaching showrooms across the country with introductory pricing that Tata says will not last.

The sedan is offered in five trims, Smart, Pure, Pure+, Creative and Accomplished, with a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.2-litre twin-cylinder iCNG option. Both fuels are available with a five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT, and CNG buyers can pair the AMT for the first time in this price band, a combination that is still uncommon.

PureRs 6.14 lakhRs 6.69 lakhRs 7.14 lakhRs 7.69 lakh

CreativeRs 7.49 lakhRs 8.04 lakhRs 8.49 lakhRs 9.04 lakh
AccomplishedRs 8.19 lakhRs 8.74 lakhRs 9.19 lakhRs 9.74 lakh

All prices are introductory and ex-showroom. The CNG premium works out to a clean Rs 1 lakh over the equivalent petrol variant, and the AMT adds roughly Rs 55,000 over the manual.

What You Get for the Money

Tata has loaded the Aeris with features that were missing on the Tigor. Higher trims get a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats and a built-in dashcam. Six airbags are standard across the range, and the car carries a three-year or 100,000 km warranty.

The Aeris competes with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura. Its entry price undercuts most rivals, while its top CNG AMT variant stays under Rs 10 lakh ex-showroom, which makes it one of the more aggressively priced new sedans in recent memory.

What This Means for Buyers

If you are shopping in the festive season, the Aeris is worth a serious look for its CNG-AMT combination and standard six airbags. But be aware that introductory prices can rise within months, so booking early locks the current figure. Confirm the build month and delivery timeline in writing with your dealer, especially for the AMT and CNG variants that are likely to see the longest waits.
