Tata has raised Harrier EV prices by ₹10,000-11,000 across variants, taking the ex-showroom range to ₹21.79 lakh to ₹30.54 lakh before the BaaS option.
Tata Motors has increased prices of the Harrier EV by ₹10,000 to ₹11,000 depending on the variant, the latest revision to hit the company's electric flagship SUV. The battery-included ex-showroom price now starts at ₹21.79 lakh and runs up to ₹30.54 lakh for the top variant. The hike follows Tata's earlier announcement of price increases across its car and SUV portfolio, covering both internal-combustion and electric models, by up to ₹25,000 from 1 September 2026.
The Harrier EV is offered with 65kWh and 75kWh battery options, with rear-wheel drive and QWD all-wheel-drive variants across the range. The increase is not uniform, which means buyers should check the exact figure for the variant they want rather than assume the headline number.
| Harrier EV | Detail |
|---|---|
| Price increase | ₹10,000 to ₹11,000 by variant |
| New starting price | ₹21.79 lakh (ex-showroom) |
| Top variant | ₹30.54 lakh (ex-showroom) |
| Battery options | 65kWh and 75kWh |
| Drivetrains | Rear-wheel drive and QWD AWD |
Tata recently extended its Battery-as-a-Service programme across its entire electric line-up. Under BaaS, the Harrier EV's upfront cost drops by ₹7.30 lakh, bringing the effective starting price down to ₹14.49 lakh, with a battery rental fee of ₹5.90 per kilometre. That structure lowers the entry price but adds an ongoing per-kilometre charge, so the two figures should not be compared as if they were the same thing.
This is the second time this year that the Harrier EV's price has moved, and it is a reminder that electric SUVs are not immune to the input-cost pressure pushing up prices across the market. If you are close to buying, lock in a dated written quote rather than relying on a website listing, and decide deliberately between the full-price and BaaS structures based on how many kilometres you actually drive.
